In this entry, I will be complaining less than I did in my last journal entry ...

So I guess I just want to update my journal and say happy new year to everyone

Hope last year was good for all of you, and that this year will be even better for all of us!

Not so much to say, but my winter holidays is pretty much going the way I wanted it to I've done a lot of the things I wanted to do. I'm reading a lot of different books, books I got for Christmas and books I didn't get for Christmas. And playing with my Christmas presents in general. (I like how I'm 16 and I still say I'm playing with them!) I play Lego Harry Potter 2 (awesome game) and Skyward Sword every day. I'm at Earth Temple and I'm just about to face the second boss of the game. I like the game a lot, this far, I think Twilight Princess is more in my taste, but I love SS anyway! <3

Not that anybody cares about this (I do though, which is why I write about it), but I've listened to a lot of the new Neil Young records I got and I love the songs. I'm also gonna hear a lot of new songs soon <3 That makes me so happy! And I watched the Heart of Gold movie today ... Loved it so much <3 Old Man may just be my favourite Neil Young song ... At least one of them. It's beautiful. It was the first of his songs I ever noticed and fell in love with, the rest, as they say, is history ... lol

I've painted the Link x Midna picture that I've wanted to paint for years literally xD And I hope I'll have more time to draw even more, I have a couple of Skyward Sword related comics planned, and TP comics, and pictures in general, even something Toy Story related, which you might not have expected (I really love Toy Story but I've never submitted fanart before), but we'll see what I finish first. And it feels like the overall quality of my artwork is improving, with my two newest deviations being deviations I'm proud of (the Link x Midna one and the full body Midna picture)

And since I got the Stardust book (by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess) for Christmas, I've put my One Piece reading on hold for a while, but I hope I'll have time to read more One Piece too. I'm not very far in the One Piece story, I'm at the point where they meet Chopper
The Stardust book is nice ... The movie's been one of my favourites for a really long time so finally reading the book is very interesting, and the illustrations are beautiful! Unusual and fun to see a fairy story for adults which has as many illustrations as a children's book, to enhance the words of the story. It feels very original.

I've not seen a lot of friends this holidays, but at least I'm having a lot of fun with my sister, who I see every day

I also got some new clothes that I love <3 Lol I sound like I'm materialistic. I don't think I'm THAT materialistic, though it's true that I get pleasure from things like movies, books and video games a lot ... haha but that's normal.

I'm a bit worried about school though ... It gives me bad conscience. School is going really well for me this far, but I think I might have a homework over the holidays, that I haven't done, because my teachers can be very unclear about things like that and I'm not sure if I need to do the homework or not. I don't want to (of course), I want to do other things, but I'm worried ... It's easy for anyone else than me to say that it's best I do the homework just to be sure, and I guess I should, maybe ... Perhaps I'll talk to my parents about it ...
Well it'll work out somehow! Everything does.
