Now I'm mad with curiosity: how does 'hikarimichi' translate?
Hikari is 'light'. 'Michi' gives me 'road'. - But together it could something very different.

Sorry for the late reply. Well, I don't speak Japanese, and I admit that at the time I chose my username (many years ago) I only knew what Hikari meant. Michi was another word I'd heard that I didn't know the meaning of. I just thought they sounded good together.
But yes, with my limited knowledge I'd guess that the words Light and Road mashed together would be correct for the translation (even though it's not grammatically correct as a phrase). "光の道" (hikari no michi, road/path of light) would have made more sense. As I said I simply liked the sound of this username and got used to it, so I couldn't think of anything else to use when I created a YouTube account.
